Best 5x7 components you can get. Buy them now if you drive a FoMoCo!
1 of 1 found this helpful These are a godsend for FoMoCo owners and especially if you are a lucky and proud owner of a premier luxury vehicle such as a Lincoln. Although the sail panel tweeters were not available on my model and I have not been able to find any later model panels second hand, I got the hole saw out and mounted the tweets semi-flush in the sail panels. The design on these is really awesome where I can still aim them at the opposite head rest as tweeters should without a duck-penis mounting apperatus. I wish I had surface mounted them to the metal beneath the sail panels and simply cut a hole but I later found out that black hot glue sticks are a thing! A little bit and careful x+acto work (not shown in photo, glue is) and they look factory except they say Cadence across the bottom. When you see that, you know your about to have a party in your ears! Also the crossovers are Humongous which I've torn open more than my fair share of and these are the pinnacle of quality engineering!

Great for what it is - sub $150 with ginormous screen
After having owned this unit for several months and actually driving the vehicle daily, its not too terrible. There is the occasional no sound (through any input or output; external amp or internal) which requires a reboot at the minimum and physically removing the screen and reattaching with all power disconnected at worst. Otherwise, when it works, it works nicely and I have no complaints except the noticeable absence of any firmware updates past or present. I suppose SSL/Boss/Dual got it perfect the first time? This unit will allow one to use the built-in 80w (more powerful than average) amp and also all pre-amp outputs even though the destructions suggest turning off the internal if not in use. This is a feature my $700 pioneer refuses to do!
The AVHD(or whatever) camera is freaking cool. Its must sharper and more refined than what my pioneer displays (same camera). Allegedly you are supposed to be able to use your own wallpaper but I have not figured that out. The destructions are worthless for the most part.

Remarkably smooth and rewarding with all the rich full character of premium install components
Works as expected but idk what I was expecting. Always use a fuse anytime you drop Guage and always wear protection when you drop trou.
