Ideal backup handpiece
1 of 1 found this helpful A titanium handpiece with internal optic fiber and water, at a fraction of the price of the original TiMax, which i have also.
I bought this in order to send my original Ti Max contra angle handpiece to have a full service and bearing replacement.
It is obviously inferior quality to the original, but i cannot expect the sun and the moon for only 150 euros.
The main problem that is a little frustrating is that the air/water spray is not uniform in nature and also not concentrated enough, also the hand-piece seems to leak air and water from different compartments, especially the area between the head and the body.
This is also evident during lubrication with oil spray (and the supplied oil adapter), oil leaks from all compartments of the hand-piece.
Although these may be a little irritating if you are used to the original, after a while you do not pay attention to them and get on with your work.
I feel despite the small problems it is an ideal backup handpiece, and this is why and how i use it.
I have no idea how long the bearings will last (they seem to be of a lower tolerance than the original NSK) and they have a very small play, although the rotation is relatively smooth.
Optic fiber light quality close to the original.

The King of LGA1366
1 of 1 found this helpful This is by far the best upgrade you can do to your old rig that is based on a LGA 1366 motherboard, provided your board can work with a zeon processor (check compatibility of your motherboard and also make sure you run the latest bios).
My aged but still very able Asus Rampage Extreme II, is working perfectly and very fast with this processor.
Gaming is a little better also.
It is also good for Overclocking, but i run mine at stock frequencies and multipliers.
There you have it, all in all the best upgrade for an ageing LGA1366 system!

Simply fantastic
I have used Midland BT2 for a few years in the past and i had found it a little difficult to control and usually bad sound quality when traveling at speed above 70-80 km/h.
Sena SRL is in a completely different league. Very easy to use, and very clear sound due the advanced noise suppression circuitry it has. Both on telephone calls and between bikes and even at high speeds.
Bluetooth music, GPS voice, and FM stereo works like a charm.
I got over 10 hours consistently out of it on long rides as long as you don't listen to fm or Bluetooth music constantly. Had GPS voice on always and talked quite a lot with my ride buddies.
Obviously when you are traveling at high speed and due to wind noise of the helmet, you have to be careful not to put the volume too high otherwise you will have fatigue pretty quickly. This applies to any audio product/headphone when you put volume high due to external noise.
All in all simple fantastic, considering the perfect fit/integration in the Shoei neotec II helmet without wires/plugs hanging out.
