Quality product, good price, great value.
This tripod is exceptional value. It is well built and does everything required of a table top unit. The legs do not lock and must be splayed to the full extent of travel and for best stability the centre column should be lowered so that the suction cap on the end, is touching the table surface.
I used it with a Nikon D5100 with 50mm lens and small extension tube. This combo is probably near the limit for this tripod but it remained pretty stable until the camera neared the vertical position. Anything more than 20 degrees from vertical and stability is absolutely fine.
To increase stability I used a 100mm extension bar so that the tripod centre column was below the lens rather than under the camera itself. Stability could also be increased by attaching a weight to the pan/tilt control arm.
Overall, highly recommended.

Very Good Value
I don't know how much a genuine Samsung would cost but this unit at just a few dollars, is astounding value. Every button exactly replicates the genuine one and they work perfectly. I am sure that it will withstand years of hard work.
