Big but bright

These are kinda big. Brightness is good though. I wish it were curved in the opposite direction so that it would fit on tip of the cap bill. Other than that...fine

I received a total of 8 units. On one of the units, the MOSFET was misaligned and only one terminal was soldered. I was able to able to fix it by removing the MOSFET and re-soldering correctly. A novice would have not been able to do this. I tested the unit after repair and it worked fine.

I have been using microcontrollers for some years and decided to play with Arduino's and use them as a teaching tool. Been buying from Adafruit and Sparkfun and found this kit from China. It is impressive for the price and the classroom tools they provide (they will send link for download via email) are incredible. So, if you want to teach/learn electronics and programming...you cannot beat this system.
