Lights of America Circline Replacement Bulb - 2630B - 30W (150W equivalent)

A light that fits, but didn't work as planned.

The light didn't work too well after I installed it. When I flip the switch, it takes a moment to start up. But then, it doesn't light up all the way. It is not a bright light. Since the bulb is so unique, and I can't place it onto any other lighting device that I own, I can't figure out if it is a bad bulb, or if my lighting fixture has failed. My plan B is to purchase a new lighting fixture.
