Self-evident title
Probably the best reading available of The Sonnets. The recording is excellent. This is a treasure!

An excellent selection from Handel's copious production (but should have included at least one opera!).
Music is superb and this is treasury of Handel's music, overall well played.

An excellent reference work to be accessed at your local music library unless you can pay a very high price for these volumes.
Strohm's erudition is never in question and he provides excellent historical background throughout. However, in comparison to the works of Winton Dean on the operas of Handel, Strohm has little to say about the musical/dramatic quality of Vivaldi's operas. The two volumes are very expensive.
