can only power one thing at a time
doesnt draw enough power to properly power more than one of my external HDD's at a time.
i bought it to solve a power issue i had trying to use my external drives with my raspberry Pi (psu in the pi doesnt have enough power to run more than 1 drive without issues) however when i started to use it i discovered that the hub draws power from whatever its pluged into as well as the power lead which isnt much use at all in my situation. all the pointless blue lights on it are annoyingly bright as well

will not work "out of the box"
you will need quite a few extra bits to get it working properly, i personally had to buy component cable spliters and a scart adapter and had to spend 2-3 days hunting down the drivers to get it to work properly with windows 10. opening up the case is not advisable if youre shocked easily by really bad quality work (soldering on the board inside was terrible). for the price its not a bad item to start learning to capture with (just getting the thing to work is chalenge enough to teach you a lot) and once you do get it working it doesnt do a bad job. be prepared for the capture program to bug you constantly for registration (clicking the button to register it wont take you to a registration page)
