Stranger to Stranger [Slipcase] by Paul Simon (CD, Jun-2016, Concord) BRAND NEW!

It seemed a bit recycled. Apparently "wrist band" is popular. Interesting concept and lyrics. Music did not seem to break new ground though.

Quick read lifts spirits
This is a whimsical, good humoured view of church life in small town America. It is similar to the writing of Garrison Keillor. This book appears designed as a small gift for the Christmas season. It is short in readable and will lift your spirits.

Well worth reading!
This book is highly readable. You will be absorbing a chapter of American history effortlessly and enjoyably. Written through the eyes of a Puritan teenage girl, the language, though of the seventeenth century, is straightforward, descriptive of place, characters, feelings and the wide backdrop of early America with it's unique task of melding the native American culture with that of the English newcomers. The understated romance and passion stands in contrast to much drama that is depicted on television, and appears to stir the emotions much more readily.
