Excellent piece of gear
These redarc bcdc chargers work outstandingly well. The solar mppt is excellent and will work in cloudy and shady conditions no worries. My old cheap brand one did not work as soon as cloud came over or if there was a little bit of shade. Also the redarc charger will kick in as soon as the lithium battery is depleted just a little bit. My old cheap one would not recognise the battery needed charging until at least 10% of the battery was depleted. So the lesson I have here is do not buy the cheap ones, pay the extra money and get a redarc, you will not be disappointed!
