Firstly the panels themselves put out good power. The controller limited the output to 13.2v. I replaced it with one that allowed 14.5v hence it did fully recharge battery. Also put 6mm x5metre cabling. Braced legs which would prevent future failure as they moved any where.cheap price meant I could do the above,now have good set .also comes with out bag,but box has good padding ..

Tail gate struts

There were cheaper ones available but opted for Australian made . Fitting could have been a pain but 30 seconds of thinking out side the square (tailgate) it was 15minutes job done.I noticed upon shutting the tailgate it had to be firmly pushed on each side. As my ute had a canopy plus rubber seals I think the strut s were jamming against the seals.A little inconvenience compared with the advantages of having both slow down as well as lift.Yeah they are worth it,.

The panels seem well made being securely stitched into fabric cover.The controller let's through good voltage.Only negative is the cabling could be the next size up but should be okay in the 5 meter length..
