We Were Soldiers
This is one of those films that will stay with you long after you have finished watching it. Set aside the hollywood dressing up of a story ,and think of the men , there life's ,there family's. How do you go through those horrors and live a normal life afterwards ?.
What must it have been like, the panic the fear the feeling of not wanting to let the man down whose by your side. When you watch the films build up of the characters then you start to get the sense of what story is trying to get out. And the message it leaves will be different for every one who watches.
But the reality of the story is , these men went through that , and this is there story. So to those who did not come home and to those who have to live with the reality of war, we salute your courage.
Enjoy a film that tells a real story.
