Great Historical Novels
The best way to read the Aubrey/Maturin series is to commence with "Master and Commander" and follow their exploits through each book.
The world is a richer place for the being of Patrick O'Brian.
Many of the details and references in this book as are they in all of the books in this series are historically correct and it is fascinating how the author amassed so many facts to incorporate in building such wonderful and exciting stories about these two men.
Once started it is almost impossible to put down this book until it is finished.
While it is a series each book can be read as a stand alone story.....read them all and enjoy a compelling author rich in detail and facts.

Hard to put down
Typical great Patrick O'Brian story. Plenty of action. Spoilt a little by the usual words threaded through- out that are old English or rarely if ever used which makes some of the passages of narrative difficult.
The ending leaves the story "up in the air" possibly an attempt by the author to encourage devotees to read the next book in the series.
Overall this is a great read.

Looks good .... is good
Once you use this microwave a few times you realise what good value it is. The price is attractive, the service good and it works well. Let's see if it lasts the distance. Easy to clean, just a tad different when you need to get used to the short time delay before it begins to cook. I" buy another if I needed one.
