Dell UltraSharp 1907FP: Value, Quality & Features in a solid, basic monitor

Summary: This is the 2nd OEM refurbished Dell UltraSharp 1907FP 19" LCD Monitor I have purchased. One is being used as a secondary display for my main desktop, one as the primary display on another machine. No flaky behavior, unexplained operation or tempermentalness. Over the years of owning and using DELL products, they have either worked like they should or were basically dead. The Dell 1907FP is a solid, dependable, basic monitor with some nice features. Features (++)Picture: Solid color, detail and clarity. (++)Controls & Menu: Understandable and well laid out. (++)USB: Allows use as a 4 port USB 2.0 hub. (+)Sound: Above average for monitor speakers. (++)Overall: Well above average compared to basic monitors from other OEMs. Like: Overall quality and features. (Excellent picture quality. Controls are easy to understand & use. USB & Speakers a definate plus.) Dislike (minor): Limited downward angle adjustment on stand. (I would like to be able to angle it down a little further since it sits above my primary display.)

Plantronics almost clone, but not quite there.

If you want Plantronics, then buy Plantronics, NOT this unit. This is NOT a Plantronics unit despite the misleading item Title. It identifies as "V8" in the Bluetooth pairing Setting. The implied Plantronics Voyager Legend functionality is not there.

Logitech quality and functionality for Keyboard/Mouse centric Games.

The G13 truly is an "Oldie but a Goodie". An ideal combination for Mouse/Keyboard games. The Thumb joystick can replace the WSAD movement keys freeing your left fingers to manipulate numerous other functions. Programmability means you truly can have your controller your way. The feel is responsive and solid indicative of the quality of build we expect from Logitech. Have tried others only to return "Home" to the G13.
