Great price for this system.
So far, it appears to be a good machine. Has nice heat control and heat displays.
The instructions are very limited and do not show how to attach the heat gun holder or tell you what the little handle and wire are for. I assume the handle and wire are for lifting chips once they are de-soldered? I pretty much figured out how to mount the holder and verified that by the picture from the Ebay listing.
Also, in the instructions it says to use an air flow setting of 1-5 but there are no numbers on the airflow knob, only 33 increment marks, so not sure where 1-3 is. At the third increment mark there is very little airflow so I just winged it.
There is also a couple tags that tell you to "Remove the pump securing screws(M5X10 Marked). None of the screws were marked and I had to remove the cover to find out which screws were securing the pump. Turns out that there is a single screw (the largest one) in the bottom that secures the pump for shipping.
Overall, I would say it is a good machine for the money. I have never used a hot air de-soldering machine before so I am no expert.
