Epiphone Dot Semi-Hollowbody ***If You Had Only ONE Guitar, Would This Be It?
23 August 2016
Love it! It's a hot guitar!
The professional setup was worth it, the action is fantastic. It is a joy to play and to look at! As described, the "blemish" is not noticeable. I'll take a "blemish" any day if it saves me almost a hundred bucks. I've always played Fenders prior to this, and the neck is noticeably wider than a Tele, which is great for players like me with big hands. I had to switch out the strings for a heavier gauge, because my finger pressure on the strings was enough to send the strings right out of tune. That worried me at first, but the heavier strings seems to have resolved it. I am happy to add the the guitar was shipped quickly in a very sturdy package. I would happily recommend Lightspeed Music, and will check them out again next time I have an urge to splurge on another instrument.
I love this printer. With a little help from Google and YouTube, has this thing working perfectly in a few minutes. This will save me a fortune in inkjet cartridges. Also it is fun to use, and my five year old has gotten into the act making flower labels. It's not just for shipping labels!

Berkshire Hathaway Inc.: Celebrating 50 Years of a Profitable Partnership
13 May 2016
A Fantastic History!
This book will likely come primarily to the attention investors and fans of Berkshire Hathaway. With that said, I would highly recommend it not only to these readers, but to anyone with an interest in the history of the evolution and management of a truly great company, unique within the American business landscape.
With copious color photos and reproductions of various business and contractual documents, and other ephemera, this book is a rare insight into some of the inner workings of Berkshire Hathaway, and the thought processes of its management. There are signed contracts and newspaper clippings. It is the next best thing to digging through the Berkshire archives yourself.
Fans of the edition released in 2015 will undoubtedly want to pick up the copy released in 2016 (made available at the 2015 Annual Meeting). It it greatly expanded from the prior edition. Care to have insight into Warren Buffett's decision not to invest in Lehman Brothers (made days before it went bankrupt)? Take a look at his handwritten notes on the cover the Lehman Brothers 10-K. Care to see a special $50 bill given as a gift to Warren Buffet but the US Treasurer to commemorate 50 years managing Berkshire Hathaway? There is a reproduction of it. I will not spoil other new surprises.
As with most things Buffett and Munger, this book is a valuable lesson to investors everywhere, and at the cover states, really is a celebration of a remarkable business achievement. In closing, Berkshire investors are certain to be pleased with a product of such high quality at an attractively low price!
