The 1-chip is much better than the non 1-chip versions!
Compared to a regular SNES 91-93 edition, the 1-chip revision delivers graphics that are way better. Pixels are more accurate instead of the semi-fuzzy pixel you would get from a non 1-chip version. Absolutely worth its money!
The images clearly show how the pixels are way better on the 1-chip console (the image that shifts a bit to the upper right, is the non 1-chip version)
