Excellent quality clamp
I bought this boom arm clamp to replace a plastic one. The problem I had was that although I could lock the position along the length of the boom nothing I did would prevent it from gradually drooping - completely useless. This clamp is in a different league however. It is top quality, a solid aluminium casting with a splined pivot that locks both the position and the angle of the boom rock solid. I add a sandbag just to counterbalance the light and modifier and to stop the whole light stand toppling over, but the boom itself is immovable. A bit pricey on top of the other gear, but you get what you pay for and given the quality of this item I still think it's excellent value for money. Very highly recommended.

Clever modifier but not perfect
I bought this as a portable softbox that would give a nice catchlight when used in a group photo and as such it is OK. The problem I have is that there is nothing to keep the front and back surfaces apart except the speedlite itself, so the top collapses. I will try to find a piece of transparent plastic that I can place inside to make it more rigid; otherwise, it works as an off camera softbox that folds up small.

Terrific carbon fibre tripod
I now have 4 tripods, plus a gorilla pod, but this is the game changer. Coupled with my mirrorless csc it provides a stable platform for long exposure photography without the weight burden. Clever 5 section legs mean it collapses into a short bag but retains very quick set up times - literally under a minute. I love it!
