Great Radio in a Small Package
2 of 2 found this helpful I prefer listening from a speaker when I go walking. I wanted a small speaker radio that can fit in a pocket or fit inside your hand. My last radio a Sony was great but the size kept getting in the way of convenience. When I saw this radio, I was skeptical because the ones I tried either had terrible sound or terrible reception. The Kaito KA200 overcomes both of these issues. The reception is as good as the Sony and the sound was clear. I know that Kaito and their other brand Tecsun have made some pretty good multiband radios, this one is s continuation of that tradition. If you are like me a speaker listener this will fit your needs. The frequency range is that of Asian bands and not quite the US allocation but pretty close. The Standard Broadcast is 530-1600 KHz (in US 540-1710 KIHz) and the FM is 87-108 MHz (in US 88-108 MHz). If you check Kaito website they are now featuring radios that fit the US frequency allocations. If the band edges don't bother you this radio is a great buy. Requires 2 AAA batteries.

Found out that Laredo is part of Dan Post Boot. Lightweight and comfortable, the soft leather is soft.

Handy Guide nice Layout!
There are very few collector books on collecting televisions. In addition they are not many book stores (including on-line) that sell them as well. The authors provides photos of a wide range of brands which definitely requires a lot of research since the number of TV collectors is relatively small. I do wish there was a little more information such as basic specs on the TV's but I know that may be impractical. The size of the book makes it very handy to take a long. It would be nice addition if the authors put a little introduction on how or when each manufacturer entered the TV manufacturing business and when it stopped and why. I would rate this book very good if there was a space for it. If you can find this book get it.
