finally got it right
SM advanced is a remake of Super mario 2. SM2 wasn't even a Mario title. They stole another game and put in the mario characters. In this remake they fix it. You've got turtle shells, massive point combos and new bosses. I love this game.

TOP GUN still a classic
1 of 1 found this helpful All right Top Gun a classic movie. Did the NES do it justice? pretty much considering the ability of the 8bit platform. Couple of things that get me in this game. Is it really that hard to land a jet? I mean usually if the pilot messes up he either touches or does a fly around for another shot. This game you get one shot and if you miss you die. That sucks. Also I thought it was the fueling pilot's job to hit the mark not the ace. I mean all he has to do is keep it at a steady speed and the fueling plane does the rest. In top gun you have a moron working the fuel pump and you have to make all the adjustments to refuel successfully. If you fail you might as well reset or give up cause your dead. Other than that, being able to choose your missles and locking on to planes is cool. I give this a good overall rating

Stereotype against an Ape? ahhh sweet!
2 of 2 found this helpful In this game Donkey Kong is watching TV...yeah TV what else do you think he does..and he sees a commercial for some mini Mario toys. So he steals a whole sack full and Mario goes after him to retrieve the items. Each level is a puzzle..trying to get the key and items in a certain time. One level you have to get the mini marios to follow you and capture them. Sort of like Lemmings.
I heard this was good but I didnt realize how much I would like it. It uses moves found in Mario 64 and getting thru each level is addicting. I hate Lemmings but I love this game! Get this one. You will not be disappointed.
