A tremendous game.
A really good sandbox adventure game that places a couple limitations on things, in turn making the whole thing stronger and not spread out and bloated like most sandbox titles (there are about five side missions to every main story mission, and the game has control over the environment that, combined with pieces of music, gives it a more linear, movie-like feel). The city looks great, and you can climb and traverse across just about everything (the main character has parkour skills in addition to electricity). Best of all, the battles with the various gangs (first were these hooded druggies, now in the new borough of the city are these super-bums with trash-made armor and heavy weaponry) offer both these insane battles (explosions and bodies flying) and the option to use some strategy against them (sneaking around them and getting better vantage points). The story of the game isn't GTA IV or anything of that depth, but I like it just fine. The Karma meter doesn't seem like it would effect much in the story outside of the powers you get and the ending you'll eventually get (I've only been playing on the good side and have reached Hero status, but I also just started a separate game to see how evil I can get).
