Quick and easy replacement.
Better quality than the one it replaced. Could be more solidly built but cost next to nothing. You do have to solder a couple of wires so diy experience helps.

Disappointing and expensive failure
Grainy texture, and too liquid to keep in place whilst it cured. On a vertical surface it simply ran off.
Too temperamental when it came to curing. Very much a hit or miss process with emphasis on 'miss'. Too much heat makes it blister so you have to go back and try again:- if you have any left!
Very much a trial and error process which didn't have a good outcome.
I would prefer to see a product with the texture of putty, so it would stay in place as it cured.

Saving the Day
Our B&O integrated DVD/TV was very slow in recognising discs and in many cases wouldn't play them at all. Manual cleaning would be very difficult as there is no access to the lens and the set is extremely heavy to start messing about with it. A neighbour suggested a lens cleaner.
It took a couple of minutes to 'play' the cleaning disc and since then the DVD has performed without a problem.
Such an easy fix :- and a new lease of life for our TV :- couldn't be happier!
