Finaly one that works
3 of 4 found this helpful A combination of desperation and hope led me to the UMC404HD. This interface is rock solid. The pre amps are warm, the latency is a non-issue, and on my system (Windows 7 i5) the results have been excellent. If, as I have, you have battled with other interfaces that made recording more of a pain than it's worth. Try this device. It just plain works. My only wish is that the phantom power could be selected per channel rather than all on or all off. Removing the technical barrier has made recording fun again at a very reasonable price point.
