I purchased this item and the seller informed me in the morning that they were printing a label and dropping it off at the post office. Approximately an hour later, the seller canceled my order (not myself) and when contacted, they informed me that there was an error in the listing. It has been corrected and updated . Yes I did received a refund but the morals of not selling something with an agreed price and noticing their error is just wrong.

It wasn't an agreed-upon price. The listing had a shipping charge and an accidental free option that was never intended since it cost me money to ship the item. The buyer seeing both options decided to be opportunistic. It was an honest error and the buyer acknowledged the error in his message. But out of spite decided to give negative feed back even though I made him whole by providing a refund within minutes of printing the shipping label after consulting with eBay staff for advice.

Great value but no software drivers
The mouse is stylish and ergonomic. It looks a lot like Logitech offerings. The mouse is a little smaller than your average mouse. Feels like it was designed with laptop users in mind. The downside unfortunately isn't with the mouse's hardware, but the non-existent software drivers. While you can certainly use it as a basic mouse in Microsoft Windows, the lack of native drivers means the left edge buttons and the IDP button on top cannot be programmed. Tecknet site does not have drivers for downloading and so far I could not find any other source for drivers.
If you need a wired mouse for fewer dollars, it is still a good general-purpose office mouse. Just don't count on the additional buttons without the software to make use of them. Very unfortunate because it feels like an otherwise excellent device.

Mouse with tons of features and lots of value
2 of 2 found this helpful It has excellent battery life from a single AA battery. Battery life is rated between 18 to 24 months of use. I use a rechargeable AA battery so recharging the battery every 2 years is a no brainier. Best of all, the AA battery isn't a permanent battery like the one found on Logitech's more expensive MX Master mouse. Permanent lithium ion batteries eventually die making the more expensive models into a door stop after 2 years. But with a standard AA battery, its easily replaceable so I can get more life out of the mouse.
It has Logitech's hyper scroll wheel that makes scrolling through spreadsheet rows effortless. The scroll wheel is also tillable to move left and right. It also serves as a middle button. It has a button just behind the scroll wheel to change it from hyper scroll to racket mode like a normal mouse. The mouse buttons on this model are rated for 10 million clicks which is much higher than the industry average.
The left side of the mouse has two assignable buttons. Their default settings are back and forward for browsers but these buttons can be reassigned to do other things with the Logitech software. The thumb rest is also another button called the Gesture button. The Gesture button can be used to switch between multiple desktops on Windows 10.
The third button allows this mouse to be assign to three different devices. The devices can be any combination of Bluetooth 4.0+ and Logitech's micro unifying USB adapter. I have my laptop, Amazon FireTV 2gen Box, and desktop computer all paired to this one mouse and I can switch between any of these devices easily.
Construction is better than some of their more recent mice, but not as good as their earlier wired mice like the G5 series. It's weakness is the plastic components that hold the scroll wheel in place. If the mouse is dropped on a hard floor onto it's scroll wheel, it will break easily. You can Google the problems people have had with this generation of mice and their scroll wheels. But the problem is not limited to this mouse. It is also found on the MX Master. But at least this mouse is about half the cost of the MX Master.
The price is usually less than forty dollars USD which makes this mouse an outstanding and practical everyday mouse. For real computer work, whether that means working with Microsoft Office software, enterprise software or just web browsing, it is perfect. But if you are looking for a gaming mouse for competitive game play, this isn't the mouse for you. The mouse is optical and not laser or laser gaming grade. It does not have a dark-field laser so it will not track on glass like Logitech's dark-field laser mice. So it is not suitable for computer games.
My only wish if it had a larger thumb rest like it's more expensive cousin, the MX Master.

Overpriced without the metal hanging rails
2 of 2 found this helpful As a plain storage bin without the metal hanging railed used by hanging files, this storage box is significantly overpriced compared to comparable storage bins found locally. For storing things other than office files, this item provides very little value. Just so everyone understands what I am saying, there are two different versions of this item. One with and another without metal rails where hanging folders slide and keep files organized. without these metal rails, the Akro-Mils 66486 is just another plain ordinary storage bin and not worth its premium price.
