Best Replacement Canopies
The Squadron kits are the best of the vacuformed replacement canopies to be had. Though they have the traditional weaknesses of all vacuformed plastics, they have a number of features that set them apart.
They include framing outlines that can actually be painted, and which are ready for any of the Airfix-based masking kits. They also fit well from a fairly basic cut, which reduces the amount of re-cutting hassle vacuformed parts seem doomed to drag along with them.
If you plan on painting over the whole canopy—-and there are several styles for doing so—-these are excellent substitute canopies for preserving a good injection molded one, letting you use the superior injection molded canopy with a cockpit kit, say, or a cleaner built kit.
I have used all of the main suppliers canopies & “glass”, and in most cases, and certainly for the Airfix Hurricane Mk.I, Squadron remains the standard.

It's a Model Airplane, People
The MPM Line are excellent mid-complexity kits, and this one is no exception. My kits was used and was bought as a "builder", so the box had seen better days; nevertheless, it performed its actual function of keeping the kit together and intact, it's just not going to win a beauty contest. But as I said, I bought the kit to build.
I selected "Yes" for DURABLE because a kit, once built, still gives enjoyment on display---but bear in mind a plastic model airplane is not real tough.

Does What It Ought To
The great thing about this primer is that it can seal up tiny cracks and gaps that poor molds, or poor mold cleaning, often leave in models. This works well with a sparing use of putty, as well, so that the primer and the putty work together, letting the modeller preserve as much of the detail on the kit surface as possible. The "microfiiler" part does not obliterate detail, even on my 1/72 scale aircraft models and 25mm figures. It isn't cheap, but for the right projects, it is worth the cost.
