Bmw X5 restored.
2 of 2 found this helpful This unit is working perfectly, no issues with comfort access performance, this unit is much quieter and the door closes with a smoother engagement of the locking system.
The installation was a breeze, but don't forget to remove the exterior key lock by loosing the 25mm torx bolt behind the rubber plug and pull out the key lock rod from the mechanism.

Well worth the install....
1 of 1 found this helpful Although installation requires a partial removal of the fascia on my 300m,it is a major upgrade compared to the stock halogen lamps with a 6000k hid kit, I simply swapped out the hid bulbs with some slight wiring modifications and was amazed at the light output from these projector lamps as if I was driving in the dark prior to the install...and they look damn good.

C240 dash knocking sound
Had the knocking in dash from a/c after removing the lower and upper center console the problem was a motor unit just to the upper left of the center the arm was not damaged as in many cases it was the motor itself.....luckily the 3 T20 torx screws were forward facing and easy to remove but getting the motor out was pita it finally came out through the. center installing this part really takes some guts being you have to position the actuator arm at the same time... But doable patience... patience....is the key..... good luck dyiers.
