You get what you pay for.

Optics are very fuzzy out towards the edges and you get a discoloration when spotting wildlife. The size is good to carry around, but I couldn't suggest or recommend this item.

Best Valued Camera on the Market Today

90% of us who use cameras are looking for something that will be able to give us high quality images when match with a good lens and is easy to use. I have owned some of the more expensive cameras from Nikon but purchased this D3300 just because it fits everything I need in a camera. Personally I don't need all the extra bells and whistles. Here is what I believe takes to get a good picture, 50% is the person behind the camera, 20% is the camera and 30% is the lens. If you want the best value on a Digital Camera today, this is hands down the best value for your dollar. Take the money you save and buy 1 or 2 nice lenses.

Buy this WB250 as oppose to the WB350 and save the money.

Pictures come out a little soft in auto mode. I suggest smart or manual when taking pictures. I was surprised how well this camera works in low light. The zoom lens auto focus is poor and sluggish whenever you go over 12x. The features are great for a camera this size and having wifi is also a big plus when you wish to operate it with your smart phone. For the money it is one of the best point and shoot cameras. While many don't like the flash being manual and having to hit a button to engage it to open, I differ and like this and also having the ability to move the flash in different angles. Haven't tried video mode yet but have read the quality is really nice. A better lens and auto focus would make this a 5 star camera, but would also make it far more costly. For a mid-line point and shoot camera, this fits my needs. Anyone can add sharpness to their photos using manual mode or through a editor program on their computer. I shoot most of the photos at 100 & 200 ISO for best quality as the photo really starts to have noise at 400 and 800. After 800 you really can't use the photo. If you need an extra camera to travel with or you are a novice, this camera is perfect and fun to use.
