We have a large 2 story house with 5 kids ranging from age 7-17, all whom play video games, use the computer, stream movies/ Youtube and use their phones via Wi-Fi 24 hours a day. I pay for the highest speed internet you can have from Time Warner without crossing over into business class. I think its up to 270MB. Our old Belkin router was being used as another access point for our kids to avoid them chewing up the bandwidth from the main cable router that the grownups use for business. Even with speeds of up to 270MB/S, the kids still experienced lagging and weak connections. I hooked the Nighthawk up and saw an immediate improvement. I had everyone turn on their consoles, stream movies, games, and use their phones at the same time. The speed off the Nighthawk alone, still hovered at around 115MB/S which is VERY FAST and solid considering there were about 15 devices pulling bandwith from it. Nuff said.......
