Careful assembling this!
The steps are what I paid for however the workmanship is very shoddy. I would strongly suggest the use of PVA glue when assembling these steps. The screws are not enough due to the cheap pine they are screwed into. The steps will only support the weight of small dogs as the small strips of pine used to support the structure will easily split.
The screws provided are designed to be countersunk however the cheap pine you screw them into will strip before the screws countersink. Use hand tools or the key provided as a powered tool will probably strip the screws.
The bottom of the stairs is unsealed so it will soak up liquids and crumble quite well! I sealed this with PVA, letting it dry before I put on the cover.
The best part is the cover which has been designed well to fit around the stairs. If you have a staple gun you might get more stability and durability if you stapled the cover into place.
