OLD CH Throttle (serial port connection)
1 of 2 found this helpful Old versions of the CH Flightgear like this CH Throttle are completely useless today to anyone wanting a stick to use on a modern PC, modern PC's do not even have the serial port they use anymore. To achieve any functionality at all one must us a USB to Serial adapter, BUT even with an adapter device will still only have most basic functions operating as a 4 button stick, and WITHOUT any possibility of programming keybings, etc.
These sticks have been redundant for all but 'legacy box' uses since Windows7.
I know as i still own 2 full sets of CH Flightgear, i bought the 1st set in 1995!!!!!!
BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Am not usually picky about item condition. But I do draw a line somewhere, when you consider that 90% of the 'dust' on old keyboards and mice is actually the DEAD SKIN CELLS of the previous owner, IMHO it's kind of DGaF to just post out an item with it covered in 0.5 Ibs of your discarded skin cells.
Just to be clear, item is great very nice keyboard great price, this feedback would have been AAA+ all the way if lazy kid had bothered to give the keyboard a quick brush down.
