Apple iMac 21.5" A1311 Hard Drive Temp Sensor Cable 922-9215 593-1017 (hitachi)
22 March 2016
For Hitachi drives that has the Apple Sticker (read as "Firmware") only
When replacing your Apple computer hard drive, you might want to save a bit by doing a DIY with a less expensive identical Hitachi drive. The Enterprise class ones Hitachi makes are among the most reliable ones in the market. The specs may even be better that the Apple stock that came with your machine. However, replacing the drive will also mean you have to have the right Temp Sensor Cable. Oh, and of course, the firmware. This allows the machine to read off the information that the drive is relaying to have an accurate rate on which the cooling fans should spin. Otherwise, your iMac would begin to sound quite similar to a handheld car vacuum after a few minutes. If you had a non-Hitachi drive, and are replacing your current drive with a Hitachi that has an Apple Firmware (it SHOULD have THAT to work), then this is your solution.

Can't kill the iPad with two cameras.
Apparently, a major letdown from a Samsung product. Applications keep force closing. Had to be reset to factory every few days to keep it working at all. Speed and responsiveness are so-so. Front and rear cameras are a good thing to have but then again, not as beefed-up as you wish they were - my 3-year old Nokia phone takes better pictures. Can't really complain much about battery life as it has become quite a frustration if I use it for long periods. If the Tab didn't need any modifications of any kind, like an OS hack, to work as you would expect it to, well, it would be a fine product. I haven't even tested video conferencing yet as there aren't any stable apps that allow me to as of this writing. If you haven't seen the ads on TV or on the internet, or only want a GPS with cameras and a browser, by all means buy it - since you won't be expecting much out of it. I don't mind the price I paid when I purchased it, but I regret spending that much when I could have something else working better not just promising to be better.

Apple iMac A1312 MC813LL/A MC814LL/A Genuine Power Extension Cord 922-9267
09 December 2015
Very well thought-of for a power cord.
Its fairly easy to take power cords for granted. Nobody really pays attention to it's voltage rating, insulation properties or how both ends fit. Just as long as it fits. The 922-9267 however, has several aspects in its design that is surprising - when you get the time on some Tuesday afternoon that you take a closer look. The female end. It fits snugly, with enough gap to go in smoothly while protecting dust from intruding. The flange of course is proprietary to Apple iMacs. I tested it on the white poly carbonates upwards chronologically to the most recent aluminums. If for some reason this end unplugs itself, the flange gets snagged on the stand port-hole so you won't have to dive under the desk and fish it. The cord finish doesn't scuff easy nor does it scuff it's surroundings. May it be your wall, your Danish teak desk, mug and the iMac itself. So it stays neat. The male end is encapsulated in a non-obtrusive, semi-rounded insulation that allows it to easily snake out of desk cable ports or that tiny space between the wall and the desk leg. Unlike most pins, it has solid pins - even the ground/earth pin. Other ones are folded, rolled and or hollow making it easily bent and may damage your outlet.
