Didn't work
The cable only works from HDNI TO Component and not the other way round. The listing is not clear that this is the case.

Buy the official xbox version
I wouldn't bother, this worked for about 2 months until it eventually gave up and now the mute function doesn't work which was the sole purpose for buying it. I would recommend buying the official Xbox version which is what I did after this one failed. Ok, it's £10 more but buy it once. I bought from CEX for their 2 year guarantee.
