Samsung Dex Station used with Samsung S8
1 of 2 found this helpful When I first received the item I was pleased to see that it was in excellent condition. No blemishes or scratches. Once I became familiar with how to use the Samsung Dex Station I was very impressed with how well it performs. I highly recommend that anyone that intends to use the Samsung Dex Station with an external hard drive get a powered USB 3.0 hub. I think Samsung dropped the ball on this feature. It was nice to see two USB ports but Samsung should have made them 3.0 ports and should have designed the station with powered USB ports. Other than that I am quite happy with my purchase. As a side note when you connect the station to your phone you will still be able to switch between HDMI audio and phone audio you will just lose the ability to use the audio jack. This did not bother me since I use HDMI audio. I did need to change some settings so that I could hear through my HDMI. Audio did not come through HDMI output the first time I plugged in my phone.
