Excellent, simple and effective
Made this purchase to upgrade the stock follower and spring in my new Mossberg 590. Spring is a little long for the 6+1 application but easily fixed by snipping off a couple inches from the new spring. I just laid the 2 springs side by side on the table, snipped the new spring about 2 inches longer than the stock spring and installed. Shells jump out of the tube with a meaningful "smack" when you rack the slide.

Some discs scratched pretty heavily, haven't tried playing them yet but scratches can be felt on the disc surface so I'm sure they will skip or freeze.
