QTX QR15PA Portable PA Speaker System

Perfect for my needs…

I run a self defence class in a sports centre hall. There are two other classes going on at the same time and, unfortunately, one of them is a HIIT class where the instructor has a portable PA, through which they play loud, energetic music and shout encouragement down a mic at the class for half an hour. It’s great for the HIIT class students, but anyone else using the hall can’t be heard over the noise of it all. I needed a portable PA system of my own to amplify my voice so that, when I’m addressing my class as a whole, they are able to hear what I’m saying and understand the instructions I give them before pairing up and going off to practice on the mats. This PA does the job perfectly. It comes with a couple of wireless mics (which I guess would be fun for karaoke or making speeches at an event), but I was also able to hook up my own Røde Wireless Go mic via the inputs on the back, meaning I could connect a discrete headset mic and have my hands free for demonstrations. It was plenty loud to cut through the music and shouting from the HITT class across the hall and my students can hear me clearly during class again! There’s a lot of other features that I haven’t explored yet but this thing packs a surprising punch. My one criticism of it so far is that the wheels on it are small and close together. Subsequently the PA doesn’t pull well on the trolley handle and often wants to twist and fall when you pull it over the slightest dip or bump in the pavement. But I’m sure with a bit of bodging and some new, bigger wheels this small drawback can be overcome. I’ve used it a couple of times now and so far my overall opinion of it is that it’s a really good PA and I’m very happy with my purchase!

Fit like a glove. Great product.

I already had one of these on my gun in tan but after hanging my gun to black I was in need of a new butt stock. After looking at a lot of alternatives I came back to the same buttstock but in black. In my opinion it is a little pricey, but I really do like it and it gets a lot of attention from people who see me using it.
