Foyle's War series
We have enjoyed the entire series of Foyle's War. Will buy more if they are produced.

Splendor in the Grass - movie from 1961
The story is set in a small town in Kansas in 1928. Deanie Loomis ( Natalie Wood) and Bud Stamper (Warren Beatty) struggle with their sexual desires and the advice of their parents. Deanie is driven close to madness and institutionalized. Bud's family loses its fortune in the Great Depression and Bud's father commits suicide. Bud takes up farming with a new bride.
Filled with moral concepts, the story is beautifully portrayed in the film and gives several actors opportunities to show their skills. Young Warren Beatty and Natalie Wood and the interaction of their characters are the focus.
I like the entire story except for the scenes where Bud's father (Pat Hingle) has jumped from a building to commit suicide because he lost his fortune in the stck market crash. I bought it ti have a copy of this marvelous classic.

Two and a Half Men lives forever!
This series of 2&1/2 men has the original characters. It is especially delightful to watch the characters develope their roles as the seasons progress. And to watch Jake grow up! While the reruns are available on TV, having the shows "at your command" is much better and you can stay in sequence.
