Great writing and likable characters make this a fantastic series
I came across this series by accident on the internet and started reading people's reviews. They were so positive that I thought to check out an episode on YouTube. Within 5 minutes my husband and I were hooked! We bought the entire series which contains 25 episodes. Love the Irish accents and preposterous stories. They are so very funny.

Poor sound quality
The sound was bad. Had a hard time understanding Madeline Stowe at times and Alan Rickman was even harder to understand with the way he mumbles. There are no subtitles. Save your money or watch it on YouTube which has a version with subtitles.

Great value with comments from the writers of Father Ted
This book includes the words spoken in all the episodes as well as scenes that were decided not to be used. There are also some pictures of the main characters but very few of some of the secondary ones. Also, the beginning of each episode has comments from both writers pertaining to that episode and/or general comments regarding the Father Ted series.
As a die hard Father Ted fan, I found I simply had to have it. I love this book!
