Garfield a Great man his doctors, his times, and who murdered him.
This was a really interesting book, I had not known much about President Garfield, but the synopsis was interesting. I had just read Killing Lincoln and found it an easy interesting read. I think that this book was even more interesting. I had no idea that Garfield's doctor was so sloppy and the poor man lived for a long time after being shot. The expression "Ignorance is Bliss" took on a whole new meaning. The read is informative and well, written, an easy read about a little known American President and his times.

Michael Harvey Chicago at it's best
If you love Chicago, and know it well or are from Chicago Harvey's books are a joy to read. With excellent story lines along the Raymond Chandler style, and facts about Chicago. These make a fun read, the one down side is that he mentions streets, large and small that will mean nothing to you if you are not familiar with them. But the stories are good, fast reads all the same.
