Highly recommended
I only play sports games but I like football and basketball better. That said, this game may very well have the best presentation of them all, mimicking a real televised broadcast. However, the feature that made me purchase the game was the Player Lock, where you can (now) play the at-bats and fielding opportunities of just one player. Baseball is a notoriously long game, but with Player Lock, my games last about 15 minutes.

Good ESPN 30 for 30 film chronicling Michael Jordan’s first retirement from basketball and his time spent in minor league baseball. You get both the praise and criticism of Jordan’s attempt so the film is not one-sided.
