The right stuff
The Televue Starbeam is the best none magnified starfinder out their. I have tried others. This device cosmetically does not look like a kid's toy train. It is pleasing to the eye well built with an oversized screen that you can see from several feet away and a mirror so when you are viewing at the Zenith you don't need to do astro yoga. The flashing mode keeps your eye engaged without fatigue. This my third Televue Starbeam, Don't let anyone tell you that the older ones were better. They are not" I own one" yes the illumiater on the old ones are more robust. But the new ones made by Rigel, perform better and I have relaced the one on my older Starbeam with a new one. You wont go wrong with this device.
