Hit and miss, but helped me out
After reading all the bad reviews of this product on Amazon I got this with VERY VERY low expectations. I found a handful of Sega Dreamcast games at a thrift store (which is pretty rare where I live) that were in bad shape and most of them didn’t work. Some weren't recognized as game discs, others locked up during loading. I tried all the home remedies (toothpaste, bananas, yada yada) with no luck at all. I figured I would give this thing a shot since it was cheap and low risk. After several rounds of using this device I was able to get the unplayable games back to life! I was amazed! The instructions said to do two rotations, however, I had to do about 10 or more and reapply the spray a few times to get these games to work, but it did actually get them back to life. The scratches were still there (some less visible), but the surface was noticeably shinier. My excitement got me to try it on other discs that had problems. Old PC games, music CDs that skip, other unplayable video games, etc and I got mixed results. It probably fixed 2 out of every 3. Not bad, but by no means perfect. So, bottom line, don't expect a miracle, but it's not a complete pile of crap.
