A wonderful story and truly worth searching for.
As with Seimaden, Volume 4, I was disappointed to learn Volume 5 wasn't available at any bookstore I visited (for what reason I don't know), as I was really drawn into the story and the artwork. So I was happy to learn that it was available on eBay, and purchased it as soon as I had the chance. It was definitely worth it, and I look forward to reading the further volumes.

The Dragon and the Djinn, by Gordon R. Dickson
Though I have not yet read The Dragon and The Djinn (I am currently reading The Dragon at War), I have been fascinated with Dickson's Dragon Knight series after reading the first book The Dragon and The George, and discovering that it was followed by a series, and therefore wanted to read the entire series, as I am a lover of fantasy literature. Despite all the used book stores I visited, I have not been able to find The Dragon and the Djinn until I looked it up on Ebay.
As for the Dragon Knights series in general, it is not only a genuine fantasy classic in itself but at the same time it gives readers a glimpse of medeival life and history, which, in my opinion, is uncommon in a lot of the more current fantsy literature, so I highly recommend reading the Dragon Knight series.

Great storyline and artwork! Definitely worth buying!
Seimaden became one of my favorite manga titles several years ago when I first looked it up on the Internet out of curiosity. I was soon drawn in by the plot, fantasy elements, and the characters of the story and wanted to read it very much. When it was released in the US, I was absolutely thrilled looked forward to collecting the entire series. But I soon became dismayed when, for some strange reason, it was stopped being released in bookstores after Volume 3 (and I've looked around in so many bookstores), so eventually I turned to eBay to look for them and was happy to find all the current translated volumes available. Overall, I'd say it's definitely worth looking for!
