only eating utensil you need
Best combination eating utensil I have ever found. Bowl is deep enough to be a functional spoon even for soup, tines work as fork and the serrated edge makes a passable knife. Its the best designed, lightweight eating utensil out there. If only they made a titanium one with a bit longer, folding handle and a bottle/can opener in the handle.

OK for the money
Some people love to hate all BG branded products made in China and the moniker "Ultimate Pro" sounds arrogant. To be fair, this is not a bad "Gerber" survival knife for the money and an improvement on the previous model. Compared to the Mora Garberg or even a Fallkniven S1, the BG Ultimate Pro is a seriously thick, heavy-duty (and heavy) hunk of steel. It was designed with a specific striker on the back of the blade, ferro rod and field sharpener both in the sheath. It also comes with survival instructions in the sheath. However, the whistle is a single-frequency toy and the sheath needs a press stud instead of velrco on the retainer loop. What passes as a belt loop is a joke; too narrow and only a single line of stitching on each side? The blade steel isn't the greatest, but you get what you pay for. Mine wasn't particularly sharp straight out of the blister pack and its not as easy to sharpen as some other similar knives, even done on a proper whetstone. Its a decent-enough survival knife for a beginner, for real emergency use, or to carry as a "beater".

Good quality, hard-wearing, bulky
I bought as cold-weather bushwalking socks. Inner layer of merino and spandex is comfortable, wicking and warm. Outer cotton blend is hard-wearing. Be aware that they are quite bulky - like wearing two pairs of other socks.
