Magellan GPS unit
2 of 2 found this helpful Easy to use and accurate. I like the screens that give me elevation above sea level, latitude, and longitude data for the specific location. Speed data on map screen is also quite useful. Excellent battery life, even took in coat pocket on a catamaran ride to Florida Keys and was able to clock speed and see progress of trip. Great value, great all-around GPS for novice and advanced user.
One drawback is difficulty and price to update maps, which unless one is traveling in an area with a lot of new roads it is not a big issue.
