Autoleads PC6-536 DAB Aerial Antenna Splitters
14 June 2016
PC6-536 DAB aerial splitter
Used this when fitting a DAB receiver to a Fiat Ducato camper van with a roof mounted aerial. It appears to work very well, both stationary and on the move. The Long/Medium Wave (AM) and FM signals pass through to the standard radio antenna input, and the DAB signals are filtered off and amplified before passing to the special DAB radio antenna input. The whole thing is in a small screened box which tucks away behind the radio.

Does the job
This product does the job. The photos don't show the cable entry which is just a female threaded hole with another threaded reducer ring. It's therefore up to the user to arrange a sealing gland to prevent water entering the top. This is rather awkward and a bit disappointing.
Cooke & Lewis SOFT CLOSE KITCHEN DRAWER BOXES PRE BUILT Sizes From 300 to 800mm

OK product let down by poor instructions
I built a couple of 600 mm width Pan drawers. The jumbled instructions (which attempt to cover many variants) miss out some steps, and others are in the wrong order. This meant having to disassemble then reassemble the side pieces. Worst part is that the dimensions for the screw holes in the drawer front are completely wrong both horizontally and vertically. I spotted one mistake in time but not the other, so ended up having to disassemble and re-drill. I really don't appreciate having to waste my time with this sort of thing. The soft close action needs a firm shove to activate, and the drawers need a good tug to open. Not quite what I expected.
