Used but like new
0 of 1 found this helpful I couldn't tell the difference of this from an OEM version I could buy from MS. Activated perfectly on both copies I bought, how good can it get? Thanks, super merchant too!

Literally better than new!
So I don't normally write a review for my small engine parts but I felt this one was good enough that I had to say "Great". Why?
First, this is identical form factor to the original, and the original was on a Ryobi 31cc "Expand-It" that is very hard to work on because of how old it is. (The oldie has a huge displacement relative to what EPA will let us use now).
Second, it's an upgrade/improvement. The crankcase gasket has a thin o-ring now that improves the seal to the crankshaft assembly/intake, making it a tight seal. And this came with a new crankcase gasket itself. (Double the seal!)
Third, I got a new intake "reed" assembly with this. That is a very hard to find part, but it came with this one. It's a wear item if you didn't know, each cycle makes it 'spring' open and shut, so it's important to how well the engine runs.
And finally -- AVAILBILITY! I could actually get one of these, and quickly, even during the times of COVID-19.
Very very happy!!!! My ~25 year old Ryobi works better than it has for "a long time" ;) Highly recommended.
