Hat doesn't sit right
The hat has an odd strap which goes under the chin and then either side of the ears, which is not well designed as it sits too far back on the head and looks uncomfortable (cat folds ears back). Product pictures are a good example of this. Neck tie is fine though, and uses an adjustable Velcro fastener

Doesn't work for rounded surfaces
The film shows bubbles/creases when attempting to install on a rounded or curved surface such as a pressed steel fridge door, and is suitable only for absolutely flat surfaces such as bench tops or flat fridge doors (see product picture for example). Film does not stretch or shrink to accommodate rounded or curved surfaces at all

Easy installation and solves indicator blink speed
The resistors are of a good solid build quality with fabric-wrapped leads and cast or machined metal housing. Installation is in parallel with the LED light, not in serial as with other resistors. The resistor does become quite warm during prolonged operation (eg waiting in traffic to turn), though this is an expected result of the resistance provided. Though the installation instructions indicate to install on a metal surface, this is not required for operation and is instead to prevent damage to plastic or fibreglass surfaces from the heat produced by the resistor. Cable-taps which cut into an existing indicator cable to provide connection to the resistor are included but use is optional, screws are not included. The intended use case for this resistor is to replace a single 21w incandescent indicator globe with an LED indicator.
