Get a charger
A pair of these were gifted to my 7yo. They work great! Except they drain batteries. Put 2 brand new batteries in, use for 5 mins before powering them off and pick them up in 2 days to find they are completely dead and need new batteries. Repeat cycle. Recommend you get a charger or they'll cost you a fortune in batteries.

I'm a Kindle convert
Bought this to take with me on holiday. I love to read, but books are just too heavy to take on a month long overseas trip and too expensive to discard after reading. I haven't left yet, but am already using it. It's lightweight, easy to hold and easy on the eyes. Works well indoors and out, in bright light and in the dark. Stores soooo many books. Can see myself using it regularly.

Great for older LG TV
My LG TV is about 10 years old. This remote works great with it. No programming needed. My son has a tendency to throw remotes around a bit. Sometimes a battery gets knocked out of position and we need to open the back and push it in again. Not the fault of the remote as far as I'm concerned.
