Ace buy

I've previously bought unbranded drives that either had a fraction of the supposed capacity or have failed after a few months. This is the second Kingston drive I've bought and the capacity when tested is correct and I'm still using the first one I bought after many months, with no problems.

Very pleased

I've only had this disk a short while so cannot comment on its reliability yet. It arrived quickly (ahead of time) and was quite easy to install in place of the existing Acer laptop disk which Windows 10 reported as failing after I checked due to programs not responding and a very slow 15 minute boot. A quick check online to get the instructions on how to proceed and just 4 screws to undo from the Acer laptop caddy and fix back the new disk and reinsert. Simples! Not wanting to spend too much in case the laptop was failing elsewhere I chose a disk with smaller capacity but faster interface & spin speed. Obviously I had to re-install Windows 10 from scratch and lost all Acer pre-installed programs which I never used anyway, & I had to re-install the third party programs I did use. Result was a much faster laptop and no "not responding" problems.
