    Excellent, Inexpensive Home Computer
Let's face it. Chips have gotten more energy efficient and faster, but for what most people do day-to-day, a functional computer that will run a modern operating system competently will work. That is exactly what this computer is. Powered by a third gen Intel i5 processor, this computer functions well. It is quiet, runs cool, and best of all works well with Windows 10. I hooked it up, powered up, and soon was online with the default Windows 7 Pro. I then downloaded Win 10 to update the system (it still updates for free as of 1/11/18). However, I kept encountering a problem with the Win install not completing. A Google search later and I found that OSs put on by major companies do not like to upgrade to Win 10 without a couple of fixes. So, I did what they suggested, opening MSCONFIG and turning of all startup and services processes. Then, reboot the computer, insert your upgrade DVD, USB or click on the icon if you downloaded the upgrade that way, and away it goes. It took about 45 minutes on mine. But once it was up and running everything was good. If you are looking for a well built, and mine looked brand new, basic home computer that will run Win 7 or 10 competently, then this is a fantastic bargin.
