Great camera with zoom lens for live streaming
Very satisfied with this camera. Better this than an expensive webcam. The latency is very good for most resolutions so great for live streaming. But at 4K resolution, the latency becomes quite noticeable yet would still be good for recording but not for live streaming. Changing the zoom amount requires refocusing, so this camera should be permanently mounted where frequent re-focusing is not required. A bit of caution: make sure you have a quality computer with up to spec USB 3.0 or 3.1 USB ports, and it should plug directly into the motherboard port, not some cheapo case front panel port if using a desktop. USB 2 cannot handle the higher resolution data rate, so not recommended for use with USB 2. In fact there are some cheap clones of these Mokose cameras out there which only support USB 2 -> beware.

Good for HD streaming.
The camera and lens are separate so any C mount lens may be used with the camera. With the 5-50mm zoom lens supplied, the lens needs to be re-focused after changing the zoom amount, so it works best as a stationary camera where once setup the zoom does not need to be changed. The image is highly configurable through the standard configuration for USB video cameras in streaming/broadcast software, such as Vmix or OBS. I highly recommend it even as a webcam although it may be overkill for that. But not at 4K; at 4K there is a noticeable latency, not a problem for recording videos, but not suitable for the live stuff.
A caution though. Make sure your computer USB port is truly USB 3.0 and up. Some cheap desktop computer cases out there claim USB 3.0 and connect to the motherboard USB 3 socket, but performance of the USB 3 ports on the case is poor, as I found out. At that point just plug the camera into a USB 3 port on the motherboard itself.
Beware: there are some cheap Chinese knockoffs of these Mokose's, but most of them only have USB 2.0 so have very poor performance and huge latency so a waste of money.

Nice Hard Drive
This Enterprise is durable, designed for 24/7. More expensive than ordinary hard drives, but well worth the money to keep data for many years.
